This website is a search engine for finding radio stations in the United States and all around the world. We provide technical information, including coverage maps, for all U.S. licensed radio stations and most Canadian and Mexican stations as well. We provide links to over 17,200 radio stations' websites, and over 13,100 stations' live Internet audio streams.
Radio-Locator uses a unique search algorithm to find all the radio stations that can be heard at a specific geographic location in the United States. This locator search engine takes into account each radio station's transmitter power, antenna height, frequency, and antenna pattern, as well as the topography and geology of the surrounding area.
Radio-Locator provides limited free use for non-commercial users. Business users, or others that need extended access to Radio-Locator are requested to sign up as Preferred Customers.
