| Religious stations have a majority of their programming devoted to religious talk or music, but also include elements of news, and educational programming. There are different varieties of religious stations. Christian Contemporary stations play modern, rock and pop based Christian music. Christian Rock stations play rock & roll with Christian lyrics. Christian stations are categorized as Christian regardless of their particular denomination. Many of these stations are part of larger radio groups that share time and programming with each other.
